We know one ‘little bird’ who’s probably Bali’s biggest incognito foodie: she’s always the first one to try all the new places before any blogger steps in:) No wonder she has sent us her brief report on Dim Sum House after just a couple of hours since they’ve opened their doors! And when she says something was fingerlicking good…well, we have to try it on our own!
This is a very new addition to growing Berawa street cafe collection. The place is quite simple and focuses mainly on dumplings with only a couple of noodle dishes. And those dumplings are as good as our secret reporter declared them to be. We’ve had quite a few but the favorites would be the green ones with wasabi, the deep fried seafood rolls and pork moneybags.
The unusual part: they have lots of imported wine, and most of it can be ordered by a glass, for only Rp.37k, which is crazy cheap for Bali. We’ve spoken to the chef and he said he believes dim sums go extremely well with good vino. That’s our man!
