So, it’s evening and dinner time – where do you go? Seriously, how many dinner places do we have in the Canggu hood? 10 fingers would be too much to count them all. And if you have a habit of dining out, it’s a hell of a struggle as you’ve eaten in all those places for 20 times already. We need more new places for dinner!
Well, the Canggu Club now has something to offer to the picky community members: since they’ve launched Bistro C – the new restaurant that is open for non-members of the club in the afternoon – their Sunday Roast has been the most popular family activity at the end of any given weekend. Yay, they welcome us mere humans! You can have a choice of beef/pork/chicken with all the trimmings. Or go flamboyant and order something a la cart – an absolutely epic lamb shank for instance. Send the kids to the movie room. Or let them play the ball – the whole giant football field is at their service! Order another glass of Chardonnay. Chat with old acquaintances. Maybe even move tables together! Ah, the charm of a well-established country club. Sometimes we all need a break from the hustle and bustle of Batu Bolong with its half-naked teens and roaring custom bikes. Wait, are we getting old?! Naaah, just craving some juicy roast eaten in peace at the end of a busy week!
