Calling all #foodporn lovers, #instafood addicts and #foodie serial hashtaggers! Grab your forks, spoons and chopsticks and get ready to feast with culinary superstars from all around Asia and world renowned cooks at the third annual Ubud Food Festival from May 12-14.

This year’s theme, “Every flavor is a story”, celebrates Indonesia’s rich culinary heritage through a range of ticketed and free events, from cook-offs and demos, masterclasses if you want to get your hands dirty, food photography workshops and food tours, to markets, film screenings, live music and much more! As founder & director, Janet DeNeefe says: “More than just good food, our program unites chefs and foodies alike for a whole-of-industry look at the food landscape – from the hardworking farmers and growers to our much-loved culinary icons, there is something to excite every appetite!”

Just check-out the lineup on the first day and tells us you’re not hungry for more! We’re still trying to figure out how to simultaneously attend several events running at the same time. Some may call it gluttony, we call it FoMO or Fear of Munching Out! Seriously, who wouldn’t want to attend a chocolate tasting with cacao beans from Bali, Aceh, Flores and East Java or a chance to learn how to make the perfect espresso martini with the founder of Expat Roasters. Choices, choices, choices!

And if your can’t make it all the way to Ubud, the festival has started to host a series of Fringe Events across Seminyak and Sanur’s dining hotspots. From a long-table lunch focusing on Balinese palm sugar at Kaum to a farm-to-table dinner with chefs Ryan Clift and Russell Misso at Grow.
